Belize tourism and the Belize real estate offers

You must see Belize at least once and the Belize real estate choices. Belize is a fabulous travel location but you can also transform in a permanent tourist if you explore the local real estate market in Belize and purchase a property there. 1st let’s talk about a few attractions in Belize and we will end with some advices about becoming a permanent tourist by buying a property in Belize. Ambergris Caye is the largest of several hundred islands in the northernmost waters of Belize. The island is the top tourist destination in Belize, and its lack of high-rise hotels or big city traffic gives the island a relaxed, laid-back feel. Most people get around Ambergris Caye by simply walking. There’s a great deal of quality hotels in town, and many resorts on the island are less than a mile from the town of San Pedro, the only urbanized area on the island. Many travelers enjoy renting golf carts, which are the dominant form of transportation, next to bicycles.

Apart from all the natural jewels, Belize’s friendly people are one of its top assets with origins as diverse as the landscapes. Mayans; Mennonites; English; Creoles; Mestizos; and the Garifuna people, of mixed Amerindian and African descent infuse an evocative mix of cultural influences. Visitors can learn about the ancient Mayan culture at the many relatively untapped archaeological sites. Though the capital of Belize is Belmopan, Belize City is the gateway to the country. Most travelers fly in here and explore the surrounding attractions before departing for adventures further afield. Besides diving, snorkeling, and fishing, travelers can kayak lagoons, cave tube along subterranean rivers, hike through jungles and pine forests, view stunning wildlife in its natural habitat, or simply collapse in a hammock and relax in this tropical paradise.

Belize attractions and climate makes purchasing a house here a tempting idea. Imagine living permanently there… the joy. The most developed spot is Ambergris Caye, which is the largest Island. Properties on the beachfront can be found for affordable prices starting $290,000. You can find even cheaper prices a short distance from the beachfront. For example, $199,000 will get you a two-bedroom, one-bath condo on 750-square-feet. If you are looking for good value real estate, Belize is the place to buy. It’s no secret that Belize is a top ocean activity travel destination. The snorkeling along the coast is spectacular, with dozens of hidden coves and calm waters – making it an ideal family destination. Of course if you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous there are ample opportunities under the waves for that as well. More a wildlife rehabilitation center than a zoo, this attraction is perfect for animal lovers eager to observe some of the native species of Belize. The zoo is notable for only housing those animals that are native to Belize, and focusing on helping sick, injured, or orphaned animals – some of which would never survive in the wild. In other cases, the zoo works on rehabilitating the animal, with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. Some of the top snorkeling destinations in Belize include Shark Ray Alley for seeing sharks and rays, Lighthouse Reef – the furthest from the coast so be ready to make a day of it, and Coral Gardens near Caye Caulker – highly recommended for beginners. And if you’re not so into what can be found under the water, the scenery along the Belize coastline is just gorgeous. Relaxing on the ship deck with a cocktail and snapping the perfect selfie is a perfectly acceptable afternoon pastime as well as diving among the colorful sea life.

The Spanish name for the place (meaning “snail shell”) refers to the winding circular approach road as the original Mayan name has been lost to history. Caracol is one of the largest Maya city-states to have ever been built, covering some 65 square miles. The main pyramid in the center of Caracol is known as Canaa or the Sky Palace and is still the tallest building in Belize, measuring in at an astounding 143 feet tall.
